Self Care Resources and Ideas
Here is a list of self care resources and ideas you can do implement right away. Sometimes just taking five or ten minutes for yourself can do wonders for recharging your batteries. Prioritizing your health through self care is one of the most important things for you to do. Going through a difficult divorce will drain you mentally, emotionally, and physically. Self-care should be scheduled on your calendar often and regularly. And, ALWAYS schedule time for yourself a few hours before your children come home from being with their other parent for parent time.

Sit outside in the sunshine and soak up the rays
Sit outside in the rain and enjoy the feel of it on your face and skin
Smell the freshness rain brings
Snuggle up with your pet and brush their hair
Sip on your favorite cocoa, tea, or coffee
